Criteria for participation
Companies wishing to be in Çukurova-Technopolis
need to complete the application and admission process.
All processing will be completed within a 60 day period
from the formal application date. During the construction
of Cukurova Technopolis, process of applications for building
site to build their own building will be completed.
Applying Companies Should Fulfill the Criteria
Listed Below
1. Companies to be involved in Çukurova-Technopolis
structure have to show necessary capacity and qualifications
for R&D and software development activities.
2. Mass production activities are not permitted within
the region. Only projects related prototype production
as defined in Technology Development Regions Application
Regulation are allowed within Çukurova-Technopolis
Technology Development Region.
3. Companies to be involved in Çukurova -Technopolis
should show the effort and have desire to develop strong
cooperation and collaboration with universities and research
centers.
4. Companies to be involved in Çukurova - Technopolis
are expected to contribute local and national sustainable
development plan. Entrepreneurship and innovation are
the two main features sought on the evaluation of their
projects and companies wishing to be in Cukurova Technopolis.
5. Companies to be involved in Çukurova - Technopolis
are expected to provide attractive employment opportunities
for the qualified university graduates.
6. Companies to be involved in Çukurova - Technopolis
are expected to believe in social justice, to be respectful
to the environment and for the human rights and to have
model role for the public.
Application and Admission Process
Companies or organizations wishing to be in Çukurova-Technopolis
and expecting to benefit from the Law of Technology Development
Regions, submit their first applications to the Cukurova
Technology Development Regions Management Company. After
face to face discussion with applicant, qualified companies
are asked to fill formal application forms.
Approval Process (Period)
Evaluation process is expected to be completed at most
within 3 weeks by referee-expert committee consisting
of 3 faculty members from Çukurova University.
Evaluation forms and the decision by referee-expert committee
are presented to the Çukurova Technology Development
Region Management Company.
Decision Process
The evaluation report and the opinions of the referee-expert
committee on the application and the scores given to application
will be presented for approval to the management committee
by the Cukurova Technology Development Regions Management
Company. Companies will be informed on acceptance or rejection
of application by The Cukurova Technopolis management
committees. A contract is then signed with companies with
approved application.
Assignment of Office Area
The Cukurova Technopolis Company is the authority for
evaluation and assignment of office area for entrepreneur
companies which want to be in the Çukurova technology
development region.
Upon evaluation of application by referees, the management
committee of Cukurova Technopolis Company will assign
offices for them to start planned activities.
Inspection of Companies
Companies, whose office area was assigned and R&D
activities have began, will be systematically inspected
by the management committee of Cukurova Technopolis Company
as it is stated in the ÇTGB application form under
“Application And Processing”.
Entrepreneur companies must provide a report with the
information requested by the management of Cukurova Technopolis
every 3 month and are required to present it to the technology
development regions management committee of Cukurova Technopolis
Company. And if necessary, the Cukurova Technopolis Company
can form inspection committees to scrutinize the R&D
project of Entrepreneur companies.
The Cukurova Technopolis Company warns companies which
violate any law of the technology development regions.
Even after all warnings, if the company does not still
correct these violations, the Cukurova Technopolis Company
has the right to repeal the contract and informs governmental
and nongovernmental authorities.
